This article on the new Sloan-C report was published this morning. The BusinessWeek article reports that it found that nearly 17% of current college students (3.2 million) took an on-line course last fall, up nearly 40% from a year earlier.
The subject of on-line education came up repeatedly at this week's SIS Board of Visitors meeting, and, as many of you know, the FastTrack program will be reviewed in the coming months. Thus, this report is apt and timely in the life of our school!
