This article in today's NY Times is interesting (free registration required). In a nutshell, the article reports on a lawsuit brought by the National Federation of the Blind, in which the organization frames the lack of accessibility of Target's website as an ADA issue (here is NFB's press release).
This is the kind of issue that gets to the heart of some of the debates that we have here. Do you think that this lawsuit is reasonable? What implications does this have for the design of web services? What kinds of cost and service implications do you think this has?
