Graduate students in IS/TELE. Should we expect an increase or a drop?

According to NSF data, number of graduate students in science and engineering is increasing over the last 10 years. http://www.nsf.gov/statistics/infbrief/nsf12317/ So, what we should be ready for? A drop or an increase in the number of IS/TELE graduate students?
